skelly death by user8835760

Format: Commander

Commander: Gut, True Soul Zealot and Agent of the Iron Throne

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gut, True Soul Zealot is the engine: each combat he turns a sacrificed creature or artifact into a 4/1 menace Skeleton, while Agent of the Iron Throne converts every artifact or creature death into a global life loss. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around this two-commander pair, not a hidden commander. Its primary plan is attrition-based drain-control, using recursive Skeletons and artifact tokens as fodder, global death-pinging payoffs, and Mahadi or Lagomos to turn deaths into mana and cards. Secondary paths include a Skeleton beatdown package and direct damage through Goblin Bombardment and Pia and Kiran Nalaar. The deck wins by grinding all opponents out incrementally rather than through a single combo.
