Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Azorius spellslinger control build piloted by Taigam, Ojutai Master. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Taigam, protecting him during combat with evasion and untap effects, and leveraging his rebound ability to double the value of all instant and sorcery spells. Because Taigam prevents your spells from being countered, the deck exerts tremendous control over the stack while filtering through the library with hyper-efficient cantrips. On Turn 6, the deck pivots into a lethal endgame by casting game-warping spells like an overloaded Cyclonic Rift, Time Stretch, or Dovescape, quickly generating overwhelming flying armies via Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, and Monastery Mentor to eliminate the table by Turn 7.
