Format: Commander

Commander: The First Sliver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The First Sliver leads a five-color changeling/sliver swarm. The primary plan is to fix mana early with Gemhide/Manaweft Sliver and three-color rocks, cast The First Sliver on turn four or five, and then use cascade to chain cheap Sliver bodies under a growing pile of lords. Morophon, the Boundless acts as a hidden commander; once it resolves, most two-mana Sliver spells become nearly free and the board doubles. Secondary damage comes from Leeching Sliver's attack drain and from sacrificing Slivers to Cautery or Acidic Sliver. The commander's role is to turn every Sliver cast into a free spell, but the final win is still ordinary combat: flying, haste, and +N/+N anthems.
