Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger and combat storm strategy commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The game plan revolves around accelerating Azula into play by Turn 3 using low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers. Once Azula attacks, her Firebending 2 ability generates immediate red mana while her triggered ability copies every spell cast during combat. The deck leverages this window to double instant-speed rituals, card draw, and combat spells. A resolved, copied Savage Beating grants multiple extra combat phases and double strike, enabling Azula and prowess creatures to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Powerful magecraft engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus provide massive mana and card flow, while premium free interaction such as Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship protects the commander during crucial attack steps.
