Deck overview

This Boros deck combines aggressive multi-combat pressure with asymmetric tap-stax effects. Led by Aurelia, the Warleader, the list establishes early board presence through efficient token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Skyknight Vanguard. It then deploys stax pieces like Meekstone, Marble Titan, and Thalia, Heretic Cathar to tap opposing creatures and prevent large threats from untapping. The deck breaks parity on these locks using team-wide vigilance effects like Brave the Sands, Always Watching, and Reconnaissance. Once the battlefield is constrained, casting Aurelia on Turn 6 triggers multiple combat phases and doubles attack triggers, rapidly overwhelming opponents with evasion and high-power swings. Defensively, the deck runs top-tier protection spells such as Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Flawless Maneuver to preserve its board against opposing sweepers. While the deck lacks fast mana rocks and creature tutors, its redundancy in extra-combat threats ensures high combat lethality.
