Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm strategy commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The core game plan focuses on utilizing Veyran's passive ability, which triggers an additional time whenever casting or copying an instant or sorcery triggers a permanent you control. In the opening turns, the deck establishes early mana acceleration with low-cost rocks and sculpts its hand with efficient cantrips like Ponder and Preordain. Once Veyran and synergistic permanents such as Guttersnipe, Storm-Kiln Artist, or Archmage Emeritus enter the battlefield, the deck transitions into explosive spell chaining. Rituals like Seething Song and Mana Geyser provide high bursts of mana, allowing multiple cheap spells to be chained together in a single turn. The deck finishes games by turning high spell velocity into direct burn across all three opponents via amplified Magecraft triggers, lethal Grapeshot storm copies, or a massive Comet Storm.
