Nick Fury; Assemble by ERock915

Format: Commander

Commander: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nick Fury leads a five-color Hero-tribal deck that uses his power-up activation as a one-shot battlefield tutor. The early game is about finding the WUBRG mana, casting Nick Fury, and converting an activation into a free Hero, Equipment, or Vehicle, preferably transforming a double-faced card such as Tony Stark or Peter Parker. The deck then wins through a wide, pumped Hero swing, with Avengers Assemble, Captain America, Wings of Freedom, and Cosmic Cube generating card advantage and explosive turns. Secondary plans include equipment-based commander damage and a control package of counterspells and spot removal. Hulk Gamma Goliath and Wonder Man make Nick Fury's ability repeatable and cheaper, while Earth's Mightiest Heroes can flood the board for the finishing attack.
