Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is the deck's central engine. The plan is to deploy Azula, give it haste with Lightning Greaves when possible, attack to create {R}{R}, and spend that combat mana while casting an instant or sorcery so Azula copies it. The deck supports this plan with rituals, mana rocks, Jeska's Will, Invoke Calamity, and several copy effects. Veyran, Voice of Duality, Storm-Kiln Artist, Guttersnipe, and Electro increase the value of a large spell turn. The main weakness is that the engine is combat-dependent and does not itself draw cards or provide evasion. The deck can produce explosive turns, but its exceptional Crackle with Power or Comet Storm turns are not ordinary, reliable kills. It has useful interaction and some protection, yet it lacks a compact win condition, a recurring lock, or a supported infinite combo. Its normal game plan is therefore a midgame value engine that may snowball, rather than a dependable competitive finish.
