Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive artifact combo and stax engine commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. It accelerates mana early using format-defining rocks like Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and Chrome Mox, quickly casting Urza to turn every artifact into a blue mana generator. The deck controls the table through asymmetric stax pieces such as Winter Orb and Static Orb, which Urza taps before your untap step to break symmetry entirely. The primary win condition is the classic Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal combination, generating infinite mana to activate Urza infinitely, exile the entire library, and finish the table in one turn with Walking Ballista or Aetherflux Reservoir. Robust backup lines, including Sensei's Divining Top with Mystic Forge and Hullbreaker Horror loops, alongside a dense suite of free and low-mana counterspells, make the deck resilient, fast, and disruptive against diverse competitive strategies.
