Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula helms a spell-slinging tempo and combo deck that leverages combat steps to double down on spells. When Azula attacks, she generates two red mana and copies any spell cast while she is attacking. The deck converts this value into rapid storm victories, massive burn triggers from pingers like Guttersnipe and Firebrand Archer, or lethal commander damage using duplicated pump spells like Unleash Fury and Bulk Up. Alternatively, looping untap spells like Turnabout with Narset's Reversal or generating massive mana through Storm-Kiln Artist enables endless spell chains to finish all opponents with Grapeshot or noncombat damage triggers.
