Deck overview

This is a combat-focused Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief deck. Its central interaction is to cast a targeted Aura on another creature, let Ivy copy it onto herself, and build two enhanced creatures from one card. Cheap Auras provide evasion, power, protection, and combat draw. Aqueous Form, One With the Wind, and Arcane Flight make attacks difficult to block, while Ancestral Mask, Boar Umbra, and Colossification provide the largest damage increases. The deck ramps with lands and cards such as Sakura-Tribe Elder and Cultivate, but it has little tutoring and only a small reactive interaction package. A usable engine normally appears around turn 5, with a threatening attack around turn 7. The ordinary finish requires several combat steps and can take until turn 12. Its main weaknesses are commander removal, mass removal, Aura two-for-ones, and the lack of a compact backup win condition.
