Deck overview

This deck is a Naya Monarch Voltron and damage-redirection engine commanded by Jared Carthalion, True Heir. The primary strategy deploys Jared on curve, temporarily giving an opponent the Monarch title before reclaiming it through combat or dedicated Monarch enablers. Once you hold the crown, Jared prevents all incoming damage dealt to him and converts each prevented point into a +1/+1 counter. The deck leverages this unique replacement effect by casting symmetrical damage sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Solar Blaze, or attaching damage-redirection pieces like Pariah and With Great Power . . .. These cards clear opposing blockers while turning Jared into a massive, lethal attacker. Monarch courts provide steady card flow and board presence, while top-tier defensive spells such as Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Flawless Maneuver shield your board from non-damage removal. The deck steadily eliminates opponents one by one through unblockable commander combat.
