2.4 - Drain the Swamp by Themilkywayfarer

Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker turns a Treasure hoard into a hasty army of 3/3 Construct Assassins. The deck builds a critical mass of Treasures through Black Market Connections, Smothering Tithe, and token doublers, then uses Aggravated Assault to chain extra combats and convert spare Treasure into lethal attacks. Backup plans drain the table with Mirkwood Bats, Smaug, and Mahadi while goad effects keep opponents off-balance. The commander is the linchpin that turns otherwise inert artifacts into attackers, and the whole deck is built around maximizing that ability. Dihada is a value engine here, not a hidden commander.
