Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Red spellslinger storm build piloted by Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape. The strategy revolves around assembling cheap noncombat damage pingers such as Gandalf, Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Fiery Inscription, paired with explosive mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Runaway Steam-Kin. The deck uses extensive rummaging, cantrips, and adventure impulse draw to fill the graveyard and sculpt a winning hand. On Turn 5, it launches a critical storm turn by casting Underworld Breach, Past in Flames, or ritual-fueled spell chains to repeatedly trigger pingers and eliminate all three opponents in a single burst. Alternatively, it can execute an instant infinite attack loop with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. While highly explosive and redundant in its damage engines, the deck relies on a narrow protection package and remains vulnerable to well-timed creature removal, counterspells, and dedicated graveyard hate.
