Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color tribal midrange control deck commanded by Reaper King. Its primary strategy leverages the Changeling mechanic, treating every cheap Shapeshifter as a Scarecrow to trigger Reaper King's ability to destroy any target permanent upon entering the battlefield. The mana base and ramp suite focus on reliably fixing all 5 colors by Turn 4 to deploy the commander on Turn 5. Once the commander is established, trigger doublers like Panharmonicon, Roaming Throne, and Molten Echoes combined with blink spells turn each creature drop into multi-permanent removal. This creates a stifling attrition lock on opposing mana bases and key threats. The deck converts this dominant board state into a win through wide combat damage backed by lord buffs from Reaper King and Etchings of the Chosen, alongside incremental life drain from Pactdoll Terror. It boasts strong commander-centric protection but remains vulnerable to heavy early disruption.
