Deck overview

This deck is an Esper aggro-control and midrange strategy helmed by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The game plan revolves around casting low-cost artifacts and enchantments to trigger Alela, generating an army of evasive 2/1 flying Faerie tokens. It utilizes an extensive self-bounce engine consisting of cards like Glint Hawk, Kor Skyfisher, Nurturing Pixie, Rescue, Pepper Potts, and Essence Reliquary to repeatedly recast impactful enter-the-battlefield permanents. This creates an asymmetric grind engine that continuously strips opposing hands and creatures with cards like Hopeless Nightmare and Tithing Blade while drawing deep into the library through Skullclamp and Cryogen Relic. The deck closes the game by overwhelming opponents with wide aerial combat damage, amplified by Thousand Moons Smithy, Bident of Thassa, or an overrun from Moonshaker Cavalry.
