Deck overview

This is an Esper control-combo deck built around Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation. Its early game uses lands, Sol Ring, Signets, Talismans, and cheap selection to reach the five-mana midgame while holding up interaction. Tutors such as Muddle the Mixture, Waterlogged Teachings, and Wishclaw Talisman improve access, but their costs and restrictions make the primary line a turn-7 ordinary plan rather than a fast competitive combo. Once both combo cards and {U}{U}{B} are available, Demonic Consultation empties the library and Thassa's Oracle wins immediately. The deck also has a slower Laboratory Maniac backup, strong removal, and many conditional counters. Y'shtola, Night's Blessed supplies extra cards when players lose four or more life and adds incremental table-wide damage from larger noncreature spells, but the commander is support rather than a required part of the win. The main weakness is that the deck must both assemble and protect a compact creature-based finish.
