Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Equipment Voltron strategy helmed by Reyav, Master Smith. Reyav grants double strike to any equipped or enchanted creature that attacks, cutting the required combat damage clock in half. The deck accelerates into play with cheap mana rocks, tutors for premier Equipment like Colossus Hammer and the Swords of X and Y, and cheats steep equip costs using enablers such as Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin. By Turn 4, the deck reliably presents lethal commander damage against a single opponent. It sustains momentum through card draw engines like Akiri, Fearless Voyager and Sram, Senior Edificer, while protecting its lethal attacker with a toolbox of instant-speed spells accessible via Sunforger. Although it must eliminate opponents sequentially across combat steps, its high redundancy and protection suite make it a resilient and fast aggro deck.
