Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal aggro/token build helmed by Edgar Markov. The primary game plan leverages Edgar's eminence ability to generate a 1/1 Vampire token each time you cast another Vampire spell, building a wide board quickly. The deck then deploys a dense suite of lords, anthem effects, and combat payoffs like Drana, Liberator of Malakir and Stensia Masquerade to turn the tokens into a lethal army. A secondary drain axis uses Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanguine Bond + Bloodthirsty Conqueror to finish opponents regardless of combat. The deck lacks fast mana or tutors, so it relies on incremental value and a high creature count to overwhelm opponents.
