Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Norman Osborn // Green Goblin to establish a fast looting and graveyard-casting engine. In the early game, Norman Osborn hits unblocked to sculpt the hand and load the graveyard via connive triggers. Once transformed into Green Goblin on Turn 4, the commander grants all nonland cards in the graveyard mayhem while reducing their casting cost by {2}. This tempo engine enables explosive deployments of major Villain threats such as The Squadron Sinister, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Abomination, World Ravager directly from the graveyard. The deck pressures opponents through evasive combat with flying and menace creatures that scale rapidly with +1/+1 counters, supplemented by incremental burn from Cool but Rude and Shadow of the Goblin. Free interactive spells like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick protect the board state while keeping mana open for continuous engine development.
