Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Voltron build helmed by Wyleth, Soul of Steel. It aims to deploy low-cost Equipment and cheat-attachment engines during the opening turns, cast Wyleth on Turn 3, and immediately transition into a lethal combat threat by Turn 4. Wyleth's attack trigger resolves the traditional card disadvantage of Voltron strategies by drawing multiple cards per swing, fueling a continuous stream of protective spells and further Equipment. Combat amplifiers such as Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Genji Glove rapidly escalate Wyleth into lethal commander damage territory, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Chandra's Ignition convert single-target combat into table-wide pressure. The deck features an elite defensive suite, leveraging tutorable phasing, hexproof, indestructible pieces, and premier mass protection like Teferi's Protection to defend its board state against removal.
