Yuriko by user2065196

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuriko is the engine behind a hybrid tempo/combo deck. The primary plan is to deploy cheap unblockable creatures, ninjutsu Yuriko in for repeatable card draw and life loss, and use counters and removal to reach a critical turn. The actual kill is Laboratory Maniac: Demonic Consultation empties the library, then any draw spell such as Careful Study or Deadly Dispute wins. Secondary paths are Yuriko drain plus evasive attacks, with Syr Konrad as a fallback drainer. Doomsday and Entomb/Buried Alive reanimation give alternate setup routes. There is no hidden commander; Yuriko is not required for the combo but materially speeds it up.
