Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai kindred midrange strategy that blends Elf and Faerie synergies under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana dorks and token generators such as Maraleaf Pixie, Imperious Perfect, and Lys Alana Huntmaster. Casting Maralen on Turn 5 weaponizes future kindred entries by exiling cards from opponents' libraries and casting eligible spells for free. The primary win condition revolves around establishing a wide board of pumped creatures and resolving high-impact finishers like Overrun, Preposterous Proportions, or Trystan's Command to overwhelm defenses through combat damage. The deck also includes direct reach through Lathril, Blade of the Elves and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, alongside an infinite blink combo featuring Cloud of Faeries and Deadeye Navigator. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and slowed by entering taplands, the deck features steady card flow and independent kindred beatdown lines that remain effective even without the commander.
