Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is an aggressive tribal engine led by Dark Leo & Shredder. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cheap unblockable enablers like Changeling Outcast and Tormented Soul to trigger the commander's combat damage ability, creating a growing army of 1/1 black Ninja tokens. Once five Ninjas are assembled, Dark Leo cuts opposing life totals in half with each unblocked strike, an effect amplified into instant lethality when paired with damage-doubling finishers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection. The deck maintains efficient spot removal in Swords to Plowshares and Deadly Rollick, alongside board protection including Flawless Maneuver and Akroma's Will. While it presents a formidable combat clock and strong commander synergy, the deck relies heavily on natural draws due to a complete absence of non-land tutors and remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers that reset token progress.
