Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses Bear tribal synergies and power-based payoffs under the command of Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan curves out early with low-mana Bears and Changelings, deploying the commander on Turn 4 to immediately buff the team, grant trample counters, and draw two cards every combat. Once the board is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings on Turns 5 through 7 using mass overrun effects like Coat of Arms, Unnatural Growth, and Beastmaster Ascension. Mana acceleration from pieces like Fanatic of Rhonas and Kodama's Reach ensures heavy threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger arrive ahead of curve. The deck interacts using one-sided bite spells and artifact removal, while shielding its board with cards like Heroic Intervention.
