Deck overview

This deck is an Esper tempo and token swarm list commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The primary game plan revolves around casting cost-effective artifacts and enchantments to create an evasive army of flying Faerie tokens, which are immediately buffed by Alela's static ability and tribal lords like Favorable Winds and Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. The deck converts evasive combat damage into explosive card draw through effects like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Curiosity Crafter. Defensively, the deck utilizes soft combat taxes such as Propaganda and Ghostly Prison alongside efficient flash interaction, countermagic, and spot removal to disrupt opponents while steadily attacking life totals. A prowled Notorious Throng or repeated drain triggers from Mirkwood Bats and Obyra, Dreaming Duelist provide finishing bursts to eliminate the table by Turn 8.
