Vivi - Aug 26 by WestND

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier leads a spellslinger ping deck that wins by casting many cheap instants and sorceries. Each noncreature spell grows Vivi and deals 1 to each opponent, and the deck stacks additional pingers like Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe, and Coruscation Mage to multiply that damage, doubled by Twinflame Tyrant. Vivi also acts as a ritual, tapping for mana equal to its power to chain more spells in one turn. Secondary paths include combat with Balmor, Adeliz, and Bria pumping Wizards and Otters, and value from Niv-Mizzet and Keranos. Thousand-Year Storm and Alania with Reverberate can create explosive copy turns, but the deck has no true infinite combo and relies on incremental damage.
