Firebending by scoopman

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos "big red" firebending deck helmed by Ozai, the Phoenix King, built around one explosive loop: cast Ozai, attack the same turn (haste), and let his firebending 4 trigger bank red mana that never goes away thanks to his "unspent mana becomes red" ability. That banked mana then fuels a chain of extra combat steps - Overpowering Attack, Great Train Heist, Hellkite Charger - each of which re-fires Ozai's attack trigger for more mana, culminating in a massive X-spell kill (Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, Exsanguinate) or a commander-damage sweep via Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The deck leans on rituals (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser) to accelerate Ozai out early, with Electro, Assaulting Battery and Ashling, Flame Dancer providing mana-persistence redundancy. It is a linear, explosive, sorcery-speed burn deck with almost no tutoring and a thin interaction suite.
