Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Black Waltz No. 3 leads a Rakdos burn-control deck that turns every noncreature spell into a drain. The primary plan is to stack Black Waltz with Wizard pingers, damage doublers, and token generators so each instant, sorcery, artifact, or enchantment chips all opponents for a large total. The hidden commander is Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied: its front creates Wizard tokens and its back doubles all Wizard damage. Secondary paths include the Bloodthirsty Conqueror + Enduring Tenacity infinite life-loss loop and the slower Demonic Pact donation lock. The deck uses tutors and reanimation to assemble the loop, while removal and stax effects keep the table from racing it.
