Deck overview

Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim commands an Orzhov aristocrats and lifegain control deck that grinds opponents down through steady drain effects and recurring sacrifices. Ayli functions as an early sacrifice outlet, a source of incremental lifegain, and powerful late-game removal once your life total reaches fifty. The primary game plan revolves around generating sacrificial fodder to fuel card advantage engines and drain triggers such as Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, and Vein Ripper. The deck can close out games via massive life drain engines, large Exsanguinate casts, or an infinite damage loop combining Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Enduring Tenacity or Marauding Blight-Priest.
