Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive tribal midrange engine commanded by Giada, Font of Hope. It establishes early board presence by casting Giada on Turn 2, followed immediately by high-impact Angel threats that enter with scaling +1/+1 counters. The deck quickly builds an overwhelming aerial presence that generates substantial lifegain while compounding board power through lord effects like Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Archangel of Thune. Card advantage engines such as Trouble in Pairs, Folk Hero, and Battle Angels of Tyr sustain resource flow into the midgame. The deck reaches a decisive lethal threat around Turn 5, overwhelming opponents through evasive combat damage backed by game-ending finishers like Akroma's Will. It protects its board state with an exceptionally dense suite of low-cost and free defensive spells, including Flawless Maneuver, Flare of Fortitude, and Teferi's Protection. Targeted removal and asymmetric board wipes keep opposing threats in check while preserving your own flying army to close out the game by Turn 7.
