Avengers Assemble update by user4144698

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain America, Team Leader is the engine of a Hero-tribal tempo deck that floods the battlefield with Heroes, grows them with +1/+1 counters, and grants them haste and vigilance the turn they arrive. Equipment like Embercleave, Mjolnir, and Captain America's Shield turn the Captain into a commander-damage threat, while War Machine, Avengers Assemble!, and Moonshaker Cavalry give the wide board double strike and mass pump for an alpha strike. The deck has strong draw and recursion packages (Kindred Discovery, Winter Soldier, Jocasta) but no combo wins, so its typical line is to take over with repeated evasive attacks, rebuild after wraths, and close with a pump/overrun effect.
