Rowan Cedh fix by user2353011

Format: Commander

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Rakdos combo deck built to exploit Rowan, Scion of War's life-loss cost reduction. It uses pain lands, fetches, and life-payment spells to lose large chunks of life in one turn, then casts cheap or free black/red spells to draw into and execute a compact win. The primary finish is Exsanguinate for lethal, sometimes powered by Treasonous Ogre or a giant Peer into the Abyss draw. A secondary line uses K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth + M.O.D.O.K. to draw the deck with Necropotence or Peer into the Abyss, then cast Exsanguinate. The commander is the central mana engine, and the deck is dense with tutors, fast mana, and rituals to assemble a lethal turn typically by turns 4-5.
