Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk leads an Orzhov tax and aristocrat lifegain deck designed to whittle down opposing life totals while keeping your own total safely out of reach. Liesa acts as an asymmetric group slug engine, punishing every cast without being hindered by traditional commander tax. The primary win condition revolves around establishing infinite drain loops by pairing lifegain triggers like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity with life-loss payoffs like Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Secondary paths finish games through explosive life halving via Bloodletter of Aclazotz paired with Revenge, or sustained aerial combat with high-power lifelink threats.
