Deck overview

This deck utilizes Illuna, Apex of Wishes as both a value engine and a cheat enabler. By deploying cheap, evasive, or resilient non-Human creatures early, the deck quickly ramps to 6 mana and mutates Illuna over or under a host. Illuna's trigger exiles cards until it hits a nonland permanent, dropping massive bombs like Omniscience, Etali, Primal Conqueror, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, or Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus directly onto the battlefield for free. The deck leverages power-based card advantage engines such as Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising to maintain high card flow while granting haste to enormous trampling creatures. Without relying on infinite combos, the strategy focuses on overwhelming opponents through exponential combat scaling and high-tempo cheat mechanics. Resilient mutate bases like Venomthrope provide built-in keywords to ensure the mutated commander attacks effectively.
