Deck overview

This mono-blue Merfolk tribal deck, helmed by Namor the Sub-Mariner, aims to generate a wide board of Merfolk tokens by casting noncreature spells with blue mana symbols, then pushing through damage with evasion (islandwalk, unblockable) and anthem effects. The primary win condition is combat damage via a swarm of pumped Merfolk, but the deck also packs a backup combo finish with Thassa's Oracle after drawing a massive portion of the library (via Enter the Infinite or Blue Sun's Zenith), and an extra-turn loop with Wanderwine Prophets. The deck is a classic value-oriented tempo build: it draws heavily, controls the board with counterspells and bounce, and eventually overwhelms opponents with a critical mass of evasive, lord-boosted creatures.
