Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Temur cascade and landfall midrange engine piloted by Averna, the Chaos Bloom. It accelerates mana rapidly in the opening turns through dense land ramp spells and cheap mana dorks. Once Averna enters the battlefield, every cascade spell simultaneously casts a free nonland card and puts a free land onto the battlefield tapped. This dual value engine fuels enormous mana reserves, enabling the deck to deploy massive game-ending threats ahead of curve, including Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, and Avenger of Zendikar. The deck overwhelms opponents with massive token armies from Scute Swarm and Rampaging Baloths, grants haste with Temur Ascendancy, and closes games with Overwhelming Stampede or Moraug, Fury of Akoum extra combats. Flexible interaction such as Cyclonic Rift and Beast Within protects the board and clears blockers, delivering a fast, resilient, and highly synergistic combat victory.
