Thranduil's Elven Army by Zoroark437

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai graveyard-toolbox deck built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a living activated-ability suite. The central plan is to mill key Elves such as Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Woodland Weavemaster, and Mirkwood Pathmaker into the graveyard, then use Thranduil to tap for large amounts of mana and activate Jarad's sacrifice-drain ability. Mirkwood Pathmaker is the usual sacrifice payload, and Will of the Sultai plus Aftermath Analyst turn it into one-shot damage. If the drain line is disrupted, the deck can pivot to a wide Elf-token combat plan led by Thranduil, Sindarin Liege, Maralen, Fae Ascendant, and Banner of Kinship. The hidden commander is Jarad, whose activated ability is the primary win condition even while it stays in the graveyard.
