March of the Black Caps by Luckylewke

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos Wizards spellslinger deck is helmed by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, who creates a growing army of 0/1 black Wizard tokens each end step and, upon reaching four Wizards, transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to double all damage from your Wizards. The primary game plan is to amass Wizard tokens and pinging permanents like Guttersnipe and Erebor Flamesmith, then leverage the doubled damage to accelerate incremental burn into a lethal burst. Finishers include Exsanguinate, Comet Storm, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, and copy spells such as Increasing Vengeance to multiply a single large spell. Rituals like Mana Geyser and Seething Song enable explosive turns, while Magus of the Will can replay the entire graveyard. The deck is heavily reliant on its commander for the damage doubling and token flow, and it lacks robust protection, making it vulnerable to disruption and board wipes.
