New Untitled Deck by davesko

Format: Commander

Commander: Garland, Royal Kidnapper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Dimir theft-and-goad deck, helmed by Garland, Royal Kidnapper, aims to seize control of the game by stealing opponents' creatures and turning them against their owners. The commander establishes a monarch engine that lets you snatch a creature each time the crown changes hands, while the 99 is packed with additional theft effects, goad enforcers, and a robust reanimation suite to keep your stolen army growing. The primary win condition is combat damage, leveraging the +2/+2 bonus Garland grants to creatures you control but don't own. There are no infinite combos; instead, the deck grinds out incremental advantage, removing key threats and deploying opponents' own resources against them. Secondary paths include mass reanimation from Bringer of the Last Gift or Sepulchral Primordial to overwhelm the table, and the occasional use of poison via Necrogen Communion for an alternate clock.
