Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrat swarm deck led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary strategy focuses on deploying resilient Zombie bodies and lords during the early turns, casting Gisa on Turn 5, and activating her on Turn 6 to convert high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once the board is established, the deck pivots into lethal pressure around Turn 7 using anthems like Undead Warchief and drain triggers from Ayara, First of Locthwain or Vengeful Dead. Because the deck wins primarily through combat and incremental life loss, closing out a game against three opponents takes until roughly Turn 10. While the deck possesses strong tribal redundancy and backup lines through cards like Grave Titan, it has notable weaknesses against board sweepers, artifact combos, and exile removal due to minimal stack interaction and protection spells.
