Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact token aggro strategy commanded by Baxter Stockman. The game plan revolves around generating a wide swarm of artifact creature tokens using efficient producers such as Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, and Pinnacle Emissary. Baxter Stockman enhances this army by buffing an artifact creature with +3/+0, first strike, and vigilance on every combat step, allowing safe attacks and steady pressure. Card advantage engines tied to combat damage, including Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Reconnaissance Mission, convert these attacks into continuous card draw to maintain momentum. Late-game finishers such as Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, Big Mother Mouser, and Steel Overseer scale the board's total power to close out games across multiple combat rounds. The deck plays a fair, creature-focused game with functional counterspell protection, budget mana ramp, and resilient backup token engines.
