Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass-tribal deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a card-advantage engine. The primary plan is to grow a single Army token with Saruman the White Hand, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Summons of Saruman, then convert Army combat damage into ring-tempt triggers to draw four cards at a time. Secondary paths are reanimating Sauron, Lord of the Rings and other threats, or making a large board of Wraiths with Lord of the Nazgul. Chandra's Ignition is the main one-shot finisher, though trampling Army attacks and extra combats can close out games as well. Saruman, the White Hand is effectively the deck's hidden amass engine, while Sauron provides the draw and reinforcing triggers.
