Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Toxic and Corrupted midrange strategy commanded by Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa. The primary game plan begins with deploying aggressive low-cost toxic creatures on the opening turns to establish poison counters on each opponent. Once an opponent reaches three poison counters, casting Ixhel on Turn 4 unlocks a steady stream of card advantage by exiling and casting cards from opposing libraries. During the midgame, the deck transitions into a lethal threat using token producers like Vishgraz, the Doomhive and Glissa, Herald of Predation, supported by anthem effects and proliferate spells. High-end Praetors such as Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite provide disruptive stax effects that limit opposing development while the toxic army secures elimination through combat. The deck maintains strong resilience thanks to efficient graveyard recursion and the permanent nature of poison counters.
