Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, this is a Temur dragon-clone battlecruiser. The plan is straightforward: ramp to six mana, resolve Miirym, then turn every nontoken Dragon into two dragons via her token-copy trigger. The deck leans heavily on an 11-card clone/shapeshifter package, since each clone can enter as a copy of a Dragon - and because the clone is itself a nontoken Dragon, it also triggers Miirym. Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest convert every Dragon entering into direct damage, Ganax, Astral Hunter floods the board with Treasures, and Thrakkus the Butcher doubles the horde's power in combat. There are no infinite combos here; the deck wins through repeated explosive turns of entry triggers, hasted attacks, and burn reach. It is a mid-speed, value-forward engine that punishes tables that leave the commander unanswered for even one turn.
