Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats/recursion deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The front side is a sacrifice-draw engine: Sephiroth draws whenever he enters or attacks and you sacrifice another creature, and every death of a creature other than Sephiroth drains one life while progress toward flipping him. After four such deaths in a single turn he transforms into a 5/5 flying Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting an emblem that taxes every future creature death and letting him sacrifice any number of creatures on attack to draw cards. The rest of the deck is a classic mono-black drain-and-recur shell: sacrifice outlets, death-trigger drainers, self-recurring fodder, and mass-reanimation effects. The primary win is attrition through repeated deaths, with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Massacre Wurm, Meathook Massacre II, and Exsanguinate as finishers.
