Valgo Slug by QuixoticWiz23

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls turns the opponents' mandatory life loss into cards and counters, while a black-red group-slug shell of draw-pingers, upkeep drainers, and damage multipliers grinds the table to zero. The primary plan is to resolve Valgavoth, force opponents to lose life on their turns, then convert that damage into card draw and a growing evasive threat. Secondary paths include sacrifice/drain synergies with Braids, Arisen Nightmare and Mayhem Devil, plus board-sweeper drain lines around Massacre Wurm and Falkenrath Noble. There is no double-faced or hidden commander. The deck is intentionally attrition-based, so it finishes in the late mid-game rather than on a combo turn.
