Deck overview

This deck leverages Karn, Gilded Guardian at the helm of a five-color midrange deck centered on +1/+1 counters and artifact synergy. The deck builds its mana base using indestructible artifact bridge lands and colored artifacts to maximize Karn's enter-the-battlefield card draw trigger. Once resource flow is secured, it deploys potent counter multipliers such as Doubling Season, Corpsejack Menace, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. Threats like Tanazir Quandrix, Leatherhead, Iron Gator, and Guiding Hydra quickly scale into lethal combat attacks, aided by trample and evasion providers like Samut, Hazoret's Champion and Goblin War Drums. While capable of producing massive creatures and explosive card bursts, the deck suffers from significant mana friction caused by a high count of tapped lands, a lack of low-mana acceleration, and limited stack interaction, leaving it susceptible to fast combo decks and sweepers.
