Urza, Test 2 by Avissar

Format: Commander

Commander: Urza, Lord High Artificer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue artifact control-combo deck helmed by Urza, Lord High Artificer. The plan is to flood the board with cheap artifacts and cost reducers, cast Urza as a mana battery that turns every artifact into blue mana, then assemble infinite mana via Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal (or grind value with Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Sai, Master Thopterist, and top-deck engines). Once infinite mana is online, the deck wins through Laboratory Maniac, Urza's activated dig, or a sudden animated-artifact alpha strike with Cyberdrive Awakener. A dense stax package (Winter Orb, Static Orb, Back to Basics, Winter Moon, Propaganda) buys time and locks the table while the combo is assembled. Secondary pressure comes from token swarms, Mirrodin Besieged's Phyrexian win, and efficient interaction. Urza is the premier mana engine and late-game dig tool, but the core combo lines live in the 99.
