Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet artifact and equipment cheat strategy commanded by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. In the opening turns, the deck develops its mana base using efficient mana rocks and cost reducers while casting Tony Stark on Turn 2. Tony's activated ability repeatedly digs four cards deep to locate high-impact equipment and artifact payoffs. Once six mana is available on Turn 4 or 5, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying creature with haste. At the beginning of combat, Iron Man cheats massive equipment like Aettir and Priwen or Kaldra Compleat directly onto the battlefield attached to himself, delivering lethal commander damage in a single swing. Free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship keep the commander safe during the transform turn, while backup engines like Master Transmuter and Urza, Lord High Artificer ensure sustained pressure across the table.
